    Curl up and cry for as long as it takes. Grief takes it out of you and it takes a long time. I hope you can feel the love and support we are all sending you.
    Talk to your father as if he were standing beside you. Sometimes talk silently. Talk about your chickens, or cooking, or past events. It is not crazy. It really works. Just because he is not visible in this world, it does not mean he is not there. You will get a response.

    I am so sorry to hear this. I have had this feeling all day long that I needed to get over here and check on you and your Dad. Please know I still have your family in my thoughts and prayers.     I am so sorry. I just lost my mother a couple of weeks ago. I understand your pain. No matter how old we are, losing our parents is a very painful thing.

    When I read your post this evening, I was deeply sadden to read of your Father's passing.

    You and your Father have this very special bond. He will hold this beautiful bond close to his heart and watch over you, always.     that is beautiful Susie, I am so so sorry for you and your family. I really thought things would go differently as I am sure you did as well. It must be so painful, I remember feeling devastated when my dad passed away, I still cry for him all the time, I miss him so much. I am sure this is not making you feel any better what I am saying but nothing does except our sweet Jesus. I pray God gives you the peace you need at this sad time. Big hugs

    I am so sorry, Susie. My heart goes out to you. I lost my daddy in 2008 and was in such a fog. I miss him every day. It's hard to believe we'll smile again, but we do and the pain is slowly replaced by our wonderful memories. Sending love.
