Little Susie Home Maker's Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

Little Susie Home Maker's Cinnamon Crescent Rolls
Ever want to put a quick and easy smile on your families face with a yummy semi-homemade treat? I love things that are easy, but have that home made touch. This morning, I looked in my refrigerator and saw a package of crescent rolls. These little guys would be perfect to add some sweetness to breakfast.

Home made "Happy Cinnamon Sprinkles"
Now I don't know about you, but I discovered this secret magical happy ingredient years ago when my children were very little. It is, "Happy Cinnamon Sprinkles" other wise known as Cinnamon Sugar. I actually discovered the happiness myself, as child, when my own mom would make cinnamon sugar and sprinkle it on fresh buttered toast. That was always so good!

So this morning, I took the crescent rolls, and lightly buttered them,

Sprinkled them with Cinnamon sugar,

 rolled them up

 and baked as directed.

Fifteen minutes later, we had warm, yummy Cinnamon Crescent rolls.
Everyone enjoyed them along side breakfast.

The kids are thrilled once again, and how simple was that.

Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

Hope this adds a smile to your face.
Remember, you don't always have to work hard to bring a smile to somebody.

Blessings,
Little Susie Home Maker

  1. Hello Susie,
Thank you so much for stopping by my little blog today. I have never made the crecent rolls with cinnamon sugar but what a great idea! I have made them with jam and also with Nutella. I will have to try the cinnamon sugar as they sound really yummy to me. I love things that are quick but have the taste of home made goodness. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful week. I'm following your blog now.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  3. Yumm! Hubbs is nuts about all things cinnamon-y. He's gonna love these! And the best part? I don't have to fuss with dough. Baking is not my favorite thing. I do pies and cookies and the basics, but he's the real pastry chef in the house. I'm thinking these will be on the menu this coming Saturday morning. He'll be so impressed! (and probably shocked! LOL)

    Hugs,
    Mary

  8. Susie those look delicious! Mmmmmm. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving the nice comment. I can't believe it every time I walk downstairs and see what we are building. My sewing room was already fantastic, but now to have another? I'm so lucky.
Things have been awful around here, mom was in the hospital and now a nursing home temporarily. She wants to come home and is confused. I am really stressed, so I am practicing on deep breathing and trying to be calm! Have a wonderful day.
    Hugs,
    Julie

  11. Oooh, yum! Yesterday I rolled out some crescent rolls, pinched 'em together to make squares, added a dollop of sweet cream cheese and raspberry jam and popped 'em in the oven. What a delicious MESS, ha! But oh-so worth it!

I'll def try yours next :)
